Difference Makers in Education

Difference Makers in Education, an initiative from Mostyn Law in partnership with 97.9 The Box designed to recognize the incredible people who make a difference in the lives of students across the Houston area.

When we think about education, teachers are often the first people who come to mind—and rightfully so. But we also know it takes an entire community of people to help a student succeed. Coaches, counselors, principals, support staff, mentors, and so many others show up every day, often going far beyond what their job requires.

Difference Makers in Education is our opportunity to celebrate them.

Beginning September 7th, we will invite the Houston community to nominate an educator or education professional who has made a meaningful impact on a student, family, school, or community.

At Mostyn Law, we believe recognizing people who serve Houston is just as important as showing up to serve alongside them. Difference Makers in Education gives us a chance to shine a light on people who may not always receive recognition, but whose work can stay with a child for a lifetime.
