CONTEST DESCRIPTION:
Mostyn Law’s “$5K FOR FATHER’S DAY” Contest (“Contest”) will begin at 12:01 AM Central on May 19, 2025, and end at 2:00 PM Central on June 8, 2025 (“Contest Period”). Contest is sponsored (“Sponsor”) and administered by Mostyn Law, through its Marketing Managers, Harrison Richmond and Chelsea Roberson (“Administrator”). The Contest Administrator and Sponsor reserve the right to extend or shorten the Contest Period at their sole discretion.
This Contest will be conducted exclusively online via registration at https://mostynlaw.com/dad/. Five (5) winners, selected by a judging panel assembled by the Administrator from the fathers nominated through the online registration form, will each be awarded $1,000 USD. The odds of winning depend on the total number of nominations received. Radio station KMJQ-FM Majic 102.1 is solely the promoter of this contest and not the prize provider.
HOW TO ENTER:
Legal residents of the greater Houston area, who reside within one hundred (100) miles of Houston’s City Hall, in any direction, and who are 18 years of age or older at the time of registration, can win this Contest. To participate:
- Nominate a local father by completing the entry form on the Contest page at https://mostynlaw.com/dad/ by the submission deadline to be considered by the judging panel.
- Registrants may nominate only one father during the Contest Period.
- By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by the Official Contest Rules.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a registrant and/or their nominee, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the email account used at registration.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
- Nominations may be made by legal residents within 100 miles of Houston’s City Hall who are 18 or older at the time of registration.
- Nominees must be living biological or adoptive fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, or guardians of one or more children and reside within the same geographic area.
- Employees of Mostyn Law, its affiliates, promotional partners, and their immediate families/households are not eligible.
- Participants must comply with all applicable laws.
PRIZES:
- Each winner will receive $1,000 USD, delivered by check.
- If a winner cannot accept the prize, it is forfeited, and another winner may be selected.
- No substitutions or transfers of the prize are allowed, except at the Sponsor’s discretion.
- Winners will be notified by email or phone within three (3) days of being selected and must confirm acceptance within two (2) days or forfeit the prize.
EXECUTION:
- Winners will be declared following a judging panel review within 24 hours after the Contest ends.
- The nominator will be notified before the grand prize winner.
- Prize pickup/delivery must be scheduled through Chelsea Roberson at Cmroberson@mostynlaw.com or (713) 714-0000.
- Winners’ names and entries may be used for promotional purposes.
- All decisions by the Administrator/Sponsor are final.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- Winners are responsible for all taxes on the prize.
- Prizes over $600 will receive an IRS Form 1099.
- No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
- Odds depend on the total eligible entries.
- Participation grants Mostyn Law the right to use participants’ names/likenesses in media promotions.
- Non-compliance with rules will result in disqualification.
- Mostyn Law is not liable for any warranty or guarantee related to the prize.
- Information collected will be used in accordance with the rules.
- Mostyn Law is not responsible for technical issues, lost/damaged entries, or human error.
- Tampered, automated, or incomplete entries are void.
- If the Contest is compromised (e.g., fraud, virus, natural disaster), Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify it.
- Any deliberate tampering may result in criminal and civil penalties.
