Mostyn Law is still diligently working on your case! But we HAVE taken a number of precautionary measures to do our part in flattening the curve. In our Houston office, we are protecting our employees and encouraging social distancing. Starting this past Monday, 1/2 of our staff is working in-person and the other half is working from home. We have canceled all travel. Mostyn Law has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to allowing employees to work remotely. We have some full-time employees who work remotely already, and our entire office is set up to work remotely, as necessary. Our Puerto Rico office is temporarily closed, and should the need arise to close our Houston office, we will still be working for you!
We are closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding ongoing concerns about the coronavirus COVID-19. The health and safety of our employees and clients is of the utmost importance to us.
We want to keep everyone safe and healthy and that means encouraging employees who aren’t feeling well to stay home. Therefore, over the next few months, Mostyn Law is exempting contagious illnesses (like flu and coronavirus) from the Paid Time Off (PTO) policy for our employees. Absences due to contagious illnesses will not count against an employee’s PTO. Mostyn Law will also be paying hourly employees who are ill to stay home.
