Mostyn Law – Balancing Safety and Business as Usual

Mostyn Law has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to allowing employees to work remotely. We have a few full-time remote employees, and our entire office is set up to work remotely, as necessary.

At this time, we are monitoring the Coronavirus situation closely, and we’re listening to guidance from government officials. We want to keep our staff safe and healthy and that means encouraging employees who aren’t feeling well to stay home. Therefore, over the next few months, Mostyn Law is exempting contagious illnesses (like flu and coronavirus) from the Paid Time Off (PTO) policy for our employees. Absences due to contagious illnesses will not count against an employee’s PTO. Moreover, Mostyn Law will be paying hourly employees who are ill to stay home.

There are no cases reported at our office or within our law firm family, but we are taking precautionary measures for our staff and our clients so that Mostyn Law can continue working diligently should the situation in Houston escalate.

Stay healthy… and wash your hands!
