Katherine D. Ramsey
Katherine Ramsey was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. In May 2006, she graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, with a bachelor of science in political science and a minor in criminal justice. Immediately after college, Katherine began pursuing a law degree at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
While at South Texas College of Law, she was the recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts 1. In addition, she was a member of the Student Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta, and the Environmental Law Society.
While in law school, Katherine was a law clerk for Heard Robins LLP in Houston, Texas. Heard Robbins gave her great insight into the litigation side of law. In addition, she was the judicial clerk for Judge Gary Sanderson, in Beaumont, Texas.
Katherine began clerking for The Mostyn Law Firm in October 2008 during her final year as a law student, before being asked to return as an associate after her admittance to the Texas State Bar.
Katherine is currently a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Young Lawyer Association, Harris County Young Democrats, and American Bar Association- Student Division. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, leisure reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
